16 - 26 July 2018
Reminder that Intents and intent fees for World Club Championships 2018 are due by 30 October 2017
All received intents can be found here - http://wakaama.co.nz/racecalendar/lookup/1379
We would encourage clubs to get in early while flights are reasonably priced and available. Some clubs and teams have already received quotes and are starting to pay deposits for flights to Tahiti for July 2018.
We would also encourage clubs to ensure they negotiate the flexibility to transfer flights and deposits on to other clubs/teams should they not qualify in January.
We have had discussions with Air Tahiti Nui who are keen to work with clubs and provide the best flights possible.
Contact Leesa at email@example.com f
or more information.
There are several packages available from the event organisors. Clubs are advised to make contact with the Local Organising committee directly if you wish to secure any of these packages.
Please contact hospitality@tahitivaa2
Please note that Accommodation and food is very expensive in Tahiti. Accommodation will also be difficult to find the longer you wait.
As a New Zealand contingent we highly recommend all of the paddlers, whānau, supporters, managers, coaches etc travelling to Tahiti take the time to learn our Waka Ama NZ Haka "Matahi te hoe". Words are attached and YouTube videos can be found at the bottom of this page
