Waka Ama Secondary School Nationals provided a great opportunity for NZTA/Waka Kotahi, supported by ACC, to connect with tamariki, parents, teachers, career advisors and kura to promote their range of free driver education resources.

The International Va’a Federation (IVF) Board has recently released a memo regarding the future scheduling of World Sprint and World Distance Championships beyond 2026. As part of this process, they are seeking feedback from all member federations to help guide their decision-making.

Waka Ama NZ congratulates our incredible paddlers who represented Aotearoa at the IVF World Distance Championships 2025 in Niterói, Brazil. Our teams paddled with pride and determination, bringing home 2 Gold, 6 Silver, and 4 Bronze medals across multiple divisions.
