Entries are now open for some of the W1 Regional qualifying events (see dates below). All paddlers wishing to compete for one of the quota spots should read the event information on the website, and then contact their club administrators to register. Please note: all paddlers need to be affiliated for the new WANZ season to be eligible to enter. ** AROCA: W1 - 9 and 10th November at Killarney Park, Lake Pupuke. ** Hoe Tonga: W1 and W6 - 16 - 17th November, Lake Henley, Masterton. ** TWOA: W1 and W6 - Saturday 7th December, Lake Ruger (formally South Eyre Lake). ** TPOTI: W1 and W6 - 7 and 8th December at Lake Karāpiro.

1 October marks the start of a new waka ama season - you can now affiliate your members for 24/25 season. Your current club members will be retained in your Members List and ready for your Club Rep to affiliate for the new season. There will be an increase in affiliation fees of $2 across all age groups - the first increase in these costs since 2007. Follow the link for more info.

Te Ara a Kewa Waka Ama Trust invite you to enter the annual Ki Uta Ki Tai Waka Ama Challenge event. Held on Labour Weekend, Saturday October 26th, at Lake Te Anau.
