Whaingaroa Whanau Hoe Waka wishes to invite paddlers, whanau and friends to Raglan for the 23rd Annual Whaingaroa Hoe

Payments

Please make sure all entries are paid and payments cleared by Wednesday 5pm. One payment per club. Please follow this up with an email stating your team/s name and club to [email protected]. No payments are to be made on the day.

Registration
This year is going to be huge and to save everybody time please print and bring your completed waiver form with you to the registration float. Registration opens 7.30am. All crews racing in race 2 and 3 (24km women, mixed and men) please wait until race 1 is underway. Allow plenty of time to arrive, rig your waka, safety check your waka - races will start on time.

Parking
All waka trailer, paddler and spectator parking is on the airfield. Please follow the directions of our traffic volunteers. Be patient and take care. The airfield will be open for parking from Friday 3pm. If you are arriving earlier or have any queries please contact Haidee on 02102321120. Please bring waka trolley's if you can - all waka to be trolleyed over from the airfield/parking area. There are 77 crews in race 1 (8km novice, junior and open short course). Allow plenty of time. Be organised - all races will be starting on time. Race 1 starts at 9am.


8km W6 Junior boys, girls and mixed - $15 per paddler ($90 per crew)

8km W6 Novice men, women and mixed - $25 per paddler ($150 per crew)

8km W6 Experienced Open men, women and mixed - $25 per paddler ($150 per crew)

24km W6 Open to Senior Master men, women and mixed - $35 per paddler ($210 per crew)


Payment Details

Due to large entry numbers we ask for ONE payment per club. Individual team payments will be considered a donation. If you are paying for multiple crews please follow up with an email to [email protected] advising your crew names, 8km or 24km and the division.

No entries or payment will be accepted on race day. All payments need to be cleared by Wednesday 10th May. Entries close Thursday May 4th.

No meal tickets this year but we will have food for sale throughout the day for everyone.
