Whaingaroa Whanau Hoe Waka wishes to
invite paddlers, whanau and friends to Raglan for the 25th Annual
Whaingaroa Hoe.
Wow!! Online entries are now closed and we have 173 crews, that's 1,038 paddlers.
Important notices;
- Rosters need to be completed by midnight Friday 26th. Any team rosters not filled will be withdrawn.
- Payments are due Monday 29th. Please make one payment per club and ensure it is clearly referenced. This is going to be a pretty big job!!

Entry Fees
8km W6 Junior boys,
girls and mixed - $90 per waka
8km W6 Novice men, women
and mixed - $150 per waka
8km W6 Experienced Open
men, women and mixed - $150 per waka
20km W6 Open to Senior
Master men, women and mixed - $210 per waka
PLEASE NOTE: Paddlers racing in both the 8km and 20km will need to pay both entry
fees. Your entry fee includes a meal ticket and we will have food for sale
throughout the day.
Registration
This year is going to be huge
and to save everybody time please print and bring your completed waiver form
with you to the registration float. Registration opens 7.00am. All crews racing
in race 2 and 3 (20km women, mixed and men) please wait until race 1 is
underway. Allow plenty of time to arrive, rig your waka, safety check your waka
- races will start on time.
Payment Details
Due to large entry numbers we
ask for ONE payment per club. Individual team payments will be considered a
donation. If you are paying for multiple crews please follow up with an email
to [email protected] advising your crew names, 8km
or 20km and the division.
No entries or payment will be
accepted on race day. Entries close Monday 22nd April. Rosters close
Friday 26th April. All payments need to be cleared by Monday 29th
April.
