Te Moana-a Toi Ocean Series was formulated by several clubs and is coordinated under the Mataatua Waka Ama Committee. The Series is based on the shores of Te Moana-a Toitehuatahi.

Saturday the 16th of June in beautiful Omaio we are hosting the second of Te Moana a Toi series.

12km's downwind (hoping for a north-easterly) for the W6s and approximately 10k for the singles. The course for the day will be subject to conditions.

Entry fee is $20 per paddler which will include a hangi meal.

Registrations by Thursday the 14th or a registration of intent to participate so we can have an idea of the number we need to cater for.

Accomodation at the local marae, (Otuwhare & Omaio) will be available for people wanting to stay overnight.
