Turangawaewae welcomes W1 and W2 paddlers to race 12km on the Waikato River as part of the 116th Annual Turangawaewae Regatta in Ngaruawahia. The race will begin at 9am and will be part of the wider festivities that will occur on the day, which includes:



· Waka Taua Parade

· Entertainment

· Food Stalls

· Waka Kopapa Races

· Kapa Haka Performances

· Amusement Park Rides



Paddlers are also invited to participate in kopapa waka races later that day.



$10 per paddler (fee also covers paddler’s entry into the Regatta).
