Almost 300 paddlers turned up for a great day?s racing in fine conditions off Okahu Bay. No less than 26 teams contested the Mens W6 race, a record for the 10k series.

Waitakere set the challenge for later events by winning 7 races during the day. Other strong showings came from Manukau and Taniwha.
