A fresh southwesterly brought up testing conditions. The spectators were kept amused through watching a range of interesting wave surfing techniques. Broadsides were the order of the day – and a few tips as well.

Paddlers all enjoyed the experience and, as a double points event, there were a number of changes in the series points placings. In most categories there is still plenty of scope for teams and W1 paddlers to move up, so with three races left in the series there’s still a lot to paddle for.

Thanks to the Cookies for a well-run event and a great feed. We all hope that outboard motor still works after having a dunking!!
