nga matou o te Ao waka ama o Aotearoa
It is with great sadness that we farewell Bo on his final voyage to rest in peace
and safety.
Bo’s sudden passing is a tragic loss for all who have been fortunate enough
to be a part of his life he will surely be missed.
Our thoughts and aroha go to his whanau, especially his parents, Jim and Gloria,
his partner Renee and his three son’s Conan, Chase and Sean.
Bo’s passion and contribution to our sport will live on in the numerous
individuals, clubs and regions that have benefited from his expertise, experience
and knowledge since the revival of waka ama in Aotearoa.
Bo’s tangi will take place tomorrow, Tuesday 15 March 2005 at Taiao Marae,
Pawarenga. Correspondence can be sent to Jim and Gloria Herbert, R D 2 Broadwood,
Kaitaia.
