Trials - Men's W1 Time Trials – 19 June
<span>AROCA has organised time trials for all men’s categories (open, masters, senior masters) at Lake Pupuke (Pumphouse side) on Sunday 19 June.</span>
The time trial is over a measured 2km course, and is to be completed individually by each paddler in a Surfrigger (with rudder).
Paddlers may turn up any time between 7am and 10.30am and will be trialled in the order they register (minimum 2 minute gaps between paddlers). AROCA officials will want the last paddler off the water by 11am.
All paddlers must make their own arrangements for a Surfrigger to paddle in.
AROCA is holding these trials in conjunction with NKOA. The trials will therefore be “rankings” trials as part of the Worlds selection programme, which involves W1 time trials being held throughout the country. As such, it is important for all paddlers to attend who wish to be considered for Worlds 2006 selection.
Paddlers from outside the AROCA region are welcome to attend – a $5 charge will apply.
