If you are a serious OC.1 paddler, and believe that you could be a medal prospect at the next 2006 World Championships, you are invited to forward your name plus ID Card No. and the category you wish to compete in.

You are also required to provide proof of your OC .1 paddling ability by stating your finishing position at the 2005 Nationals, TPOTI Regional Sprints and / or recent results from the time trials or OC.1 races (Rotohoe series etc).

The TPOTI Regional Committee will look at the information you supply with a view to supporting your application by recommending that you be afforded the opportunity to participate in the October OC.1 National Selection Trials.

Your information should be forwarded to both Alex Ryder and Howard Hyland.

If you are currently part of a New Zealand Training Squad, it is your responsibility to notify the Coach or Manager of your intention to try out for the OC.1.
