Notice - Surfriggers - October Trials

The ruddered and rudderless races at the October trials must be in a Surfrigger. Each paddler must make arrangements for a Surfrigger to paddle in.

No Surfrigger may be shared with paddlers in races up to two ahead or two behind.

To get through all the races without delays all paddlers need to be sure they have a Surfrigger to paddle in prior to the Trials.

As far as possible we are asking paddlers to make their own arrangements with Surfrigger owners. Please do not leave this to the Trials to sort out, because you are likely to be disappointed. And it is very important that all paddlers down for the W1 races do compete.

If you own a Surfrigger, please make it available to your fellow paddlers.

Lianne Reaburn has kindly accepted a request to be the contact point for paddlers who cannot find a Surfrigger to paddle in (please make your own efforts to find one first).

Please also let Lianne know if you have a Surfrigger and are prepared to make it available. We will ensure that you have personal contact with the paddlers who will use your canoe, so you can be assured it will be looked after.
