NKOA - W1 Trials for the Worlds
W1 trials for the 4th and 5th representatives in the W1 division at the World Sprints have now been organized.
In some cases, as paddlers who had already qualified have pulled out, there are three spots open.
A list of invited paddlers is attached. The invitations have been made by each division's selection committee following performances at the October trials, 2006 Nationals and various training camps.
The list includes the three paddlers who have already been selected from the October trials. These paddlers do not need to retrial. There is also no need for a trial for J16 Women or J16 Men.
Trials will be held as follows.
Men and Women - Rotorua - 25 February
Junior 19 Men - Gisborne - 18 February
Junior 19 Women - Gisborne - 11 February
Further details will be provided to paddlers through coaches/ managers.
