After discussions with the Harbour Master, the Weather officials, club officials, and in the interest of health and safety, a decision has been made to cancel the roto hoe for this weekend. The predicted conditions will make the lake too rough and far too cold to paddle on.

We apologise, yet again for that inconvenience, but Tawhirimatea and Tangaroa must want us to rest this weekend!

We still have Lake Tikitapu and Lake Okareka to tackle in this series, so here’s hoping we can get paddling then. Keep a look out for the panui
