It turns out that the majority of the students wishing to be involved are heavily into Winter sports.

There were also considerable interest from outside the immediate Auckland area in the event but the timing, during peak Winter Sport, precluded them from attending.

In order to best meets the needs of the target groups it has been decided to defer the event until the 18th November.

The organisers and AROCA apologise for this delay but believe it is ultimately in the best interest of the children and the sport that this action is taken.

The organisers and AROCA wish to thank those clubs who have offered their waka and volunteers for the event, and trust you will be in a position to assist in November.

Please note the new date in your diaries as we will follow up in October.
