The huge number of participants enjoyed racing in the Autumn sunshine and the whole day went like clockwork, great credit to Orakei!!

It was a real sight with over 70 W1, W2 and W6 canoes out on the water at the same time – this must surely be a record for a waka ama event in NZ.
