A great and bitterly cold day of racing had indeed.

11 x W6, 2 x W2 and 4 x W1s having registered with Motueka Waka Ama Club and Heretaunga Ararau O Ngati Kahungunu Waka Aka Roopu
travelling from outside the region to take part in this event, thank you for your support.

The race was advertised as 10KM but actually worked out to be closer to 13KM.

Many thanks to everyone who supported and participated in the celebration of Matariki, the Maori new year. New beginnings.
