Te Moana-A-Toi Ocean Series 4
Te Moana-a Toi Ocean Series was formulated by several clubs, and is co coordinated under the Mataatua Waka Ama Committee. The series is based on the shores of the Te Moana-a Toitehuatahi.
Maketu to Motiti

Venue: Maketu just after the Marae. Will be signposted
Date: Saturday 18th August 2007
High Tide: 11 am
Cost: $20.00 per paddler

Race start time All W6’s 9 am.   W1 & 2   9.10 am

Distance:
W6 = 24  kms Maketu to Motiti Knoll and back to estuary
W1 & W2 = 8 kms  kaituna Cut mouth & back to estuary

Course       
W6 Maketu to Motiti knoll  and return back to Maketu estuary
W1 & W2 Maketu along to the Kaituna river mouth and return back to Maketu estuary

Alternate course if weather conditions are unfavourable, will be up the Kaituna River

Entries close Friday 10th August 2007 no late entries

Food: Hot soup immediately after racing. After all racing finished hot meal and prize giving
