Why am I writing about my holiday on the website, cause we did some paddling while we were there and I thought I would share a couple of photos
So if you haven't been to Rarotonga already, its a pretty laid back sorta place, speed limit is 40km in most places and the whole island is only 30km around.
Most of the local paddlers were at the South Pacific Games in Samoa, so we were fortunate enough to go out for a paddle as there were plenty of empty seats.
As you can imagine the water is a lot warmer there, in fact it almost worth moving there just for the paddling.
So thanks to Lara & June for helping arrange a paddle for us over there, and if you are heading over for the Vaka Eiva, make sure you checkout the Paw Paw Patch restaurant, they do a mean BBQ fish on Sunday evenings
Here is a link to the Vaka Eiva website for those who are interested.

PS. One of the local attractions is to stand at the end of the runway when a jet roars in only a few metres above your head (check out the vid)
