Hemi took out the Junior Sportsman of the Year for his achievements of two National Waka Ama titles and four International Titles in the Waitui International Regetta.

Raanj who coached the Junior Tarawera Outrigger Canoe Junior teams to a Gold Medal winning performances won Coach of the Year.

Raanj also won the Overall award, Personality of the Year for her achievements in Waka Ama, Dragon Boat Racing, Touch and Coaching skills.

Overall, an awesome achievement from both of these young athletes.
