Worlds 2008 - Day 2 Done and Dusted

Conditions were fantastic today, and the racing was red hot (just like the air temperature).

We had some cloud cover today. You think it would be slightly cooler, but it is not.

I went for a walk around the venue at lunch to get out of the stuffy admin tent, and it was actually hotter everywhere else, so straight back to the stuffy admin tent to cool off.

Enough about the weather, I am sure you get the picture.

Three World records were broken today. One was by Brenan Guyol of New Zealand with a time of 2:35.32 in the Senior Master Women V1 500. (and it is not even finals time yet)

There was plenty of other New Zealand action out on the water, with lots of teams through to the repechage and semis.
