It was great to have some quiet time, I think everyone was looking forward to it, after all the stress and excitement of racing.

It is great to see how much pride there is amongst the paddlers, and how much support there is for one-another, and all the new names and faces that we can now call friends.

Yesterday, it was really cool to be up on the finish line, watching so many nz teams in the finals and the excitement of those when they got medals.

The contingent is not just the crews on the water but also the huge amount of supporters, that gave their time and money to be here, to watch a friend, a family member or just to help out where needed.

Everyone is in good spirit, it sad to see the tour end, but it is also good to be heading home soon.
