Concern has also been raised, that increased affiliation fees will be used to pay the debt.

This issue has dragged on too long already, and we think that in all fairness, we need to inform the paddling community of where things stand.

Due to financial difficulties, the 2006 World Sprints event did make a loss.
The debt that was incurred has not been cleared yet.
The current outstanding amount is $60,900

Having said that, we have put plans in place to ensure

1. There will be NO INCREASE in paddler affiliation fees for 2008-09 season.

2. There will be NO INCREASE in Nationals 2009 entry fees

3. Paddler Affiliation fees WILL NOT be used to pay the debt.

While the financial outlook is not fantastic, we are confident that we can clear the outstanding debt in the next 24 months

To achieve this goal we need your help.

Please pay your paddler affiliation fees and nationals entry fees ontime.
This will allow us to manage our cash flow to ensure we are able to minimise the amount of debt.
