Entry is limited to clubs in the Te Puku O Te Ika region only.

The days have been split into Juniors and Seniors, as this gave the most races possible in the time we have.
Day 1 - Midget, Int, J16, J19
Day 2 - O23, Open, Master, Snr Master, Gld Master

W1 Trials
W1 Trials will be held first thing in the morning (hopefully this gives better conditions)
There are two rounds of W1 trials.

• 1st round is a seeding round, you need to be in the top 12 paddlers to progress to the 2nd round.
• 2nd round will be plate and champ finals, and the quota qualifications will be based on 2nd round results.

Conditions of Entry

• Anyone who paddles in the W1 trials is expected to race for TPOTI region at the National Sprints if they qualify.
• If you have already trialed for another region you will be unable to enter the W1 trials held at this event.
• By entering this event, you waive your right to race W1 or trial W1 for any other region at Nationals.

W6 Races
Teams have 3 races each (2x 1000/1500m, 1x 500m)
If there are delays (weather, teams taking ages to get to the start line, etc), then we may choose not to run the final round of 1000/1500m races depending on time constraints
