Thank you to our race director Mere Elkington (TOA Waka Ama) for putting her hand up to run our 1st regional regatta.

A successful turnout with 130 x teams registered online. This number is expected to grow with the 2nd regional now appoaching.

Let us not forget our hard working volunteers that helped out on the day, the event would not have been possible without you.

REQUEST: HTPWAA would like to place a request with all clubs for beams to allow the region to run a W12 event at the next regional sprint. If your club is able to assist please contact Raukawa ASAP.

Food Stalls: At the next regional sprint if your club would like to run a fundraiser stall please alert us of your intentions so we can allocate an area to you that wont interrupt with racing. Also your club will then have to apply for a permit to Porirua Council this will cost $10 approx.

Reminder the next regional W6 regatta will be
* Date: Saturday 13th December
* Racing starts: 0830am
* Venue: Same place, Porirua Harbour, Onepoto domain.
* Race Director: George Fa'alogo
* Volunteers needed, preferably non-paddling volunteers.
* Categories: W6 500/1000/1500m & W12 500m
* Note: Juniors will race in the morning, Seniors in the arvo followed by W12 to complete the day.
