Worlds 2010 - Panui (Updated)

In spite of the conditions not being the most favorable for time trials, they did go ahead with 148 paddlers taking part.

The next Time Trial will be held at Lake Karapiro in July 25th & 26th. The trial will consist of a 300m x W1, 500m x W1, 300 x W6 (tractor pull)

Prior to the July trials, there will be Training Camps in Rotorua. The Womens camp is set down for the 6th & 7th of June 2009. And the Mens is the 20th and 21st June. (MENS DATES UPDATED)
More info will follow regarding these camps soon.

Both the June camp and the July Time Trials are set-down as a, 'Must do' for all paddlers, across all senior divisions.

There will be satalite coaching prgrammes run throughout the Country:
Men: Wellington, Auckland, Rotorua, South Island
Women: Northland, Auckland, Rotorua, Wellington, South Island

A reminder: CLUB teams will be not eligible as a team. Individual trial times will need to be met and gold medal contention combinations will be sought.

The November Trial is scheduled for 31 October and 1 November
There will be a Qualifying criteria set. These time standards are currently being worked on.
