The purpose was to meet with everyone and anyone that have an interest in the strategic direction of Nga Kaihoe o Aotearoa and the sport of Waka Ama generally.
 
The following Hui were held:
 
14 JUNE - TUOTR
20 JUNE - HOE TONGA
21 JUNE - TPOTI
27 JUNE - TWOA
28 JUNE - TTPCA
28 JUNE - AROCA
 
The enthusiasm and input into this process of developing a new strategic plan has been awesome and thank-you to everyone who took the time to read the draft document, attend the Hui, and give feedback.
I am excited for the future of the sport and the enthusiasm shown throughout each of the 6 regions
has been inspiring.
 
The Council of NKOA and Regional Presidents will be meeting on 5th July to agree on the final draft which will then be circulated to all regions, clubs and paddlers prior to the AGM on 9th August
