Results - Nga Kaitiaki Regatta
On behalf of Nga Kaitiaki club we like to thank all those that came to support our regatta we had an awesome day of racing with no hiccups.
Awesome to see all the canoes on Hokianga harbour, Kupe would have been proud.
To all who travelled the distance thank you so much for your support, we hope that the Paua, Oysters and Kina’s were worth your ride and by the height of the shell’s in your plates it seemed like you’s were doing alright.
Would like to thank Dave King for supplying W6’s for Auckland crews and all the other clubs that brought their own Thank you heaps!!!
Next year we hope to have the same event with the same feed but T-shirts and Prize money. We will provide canoes for all crews out of the region with a $10.00 koha per Paddler for canoe hire and also $10.00 for accommodation for the weekend. So watch this space.
