The 2010 Buoy2Buoy Series starts this weekend., Sunday 7 March 2010. Intermediate aged (9-12yrs) children will race a 3km red buoy course around Lake Pupuke on the Northshore.

This Series is in its second year and grew out of the need to give juniors the opportunity to gain race experience, confidence and competency in a W1 / W2 canoe.

Each regatta has a race theme and entry into the event is a gift representing the theme which is then randomly selected and given to each participant.

All children are to wear lifejackets and a High Viz jacket/top to improve visibility of paddlers at all times. All registrations in to [email protected] the friday before the event. Girls race first followed by the boys. A shared kai will follow the end of the last race.
