We had our first water session today and everyone got out in V6 and V1's for our 2 hour time slot.

The conditions are not wonderful. It is very windy (On shore - Ama side for the 500 Straight) and it is a little overcast...but it is not cold. The

Bradley canoes are very easy to turn...but harder to keep a straight line, especially in the wind!

The Waka blessing was this morning at 7:30am and we all attended.

The Juniors have made themselves at home in the hotel pool!

The rest of our teams arrive Saturday lunchtime and we are looking forward to having everyone together. We will be having a special breakfast together on Sunday Morning at 8am.
