Friday 17th: 7 Km W6 Race
Location: Takapuna Beach & Takapuna Boating Club Lounge
2:00 PM Registrations commence at the Takapuna Boating Club for the 7Km W6 race

3:15 PM Race Start from Takapuna Beach
5:00 PM Meal provided for all International Paddlers
6:00 PM Official Welcome which also includes
• Prizegiving FOR 7Km race
• Presentations to all International Crews
• Finger Food for all Paddlers
• Clothing sales
• Waka Ama Footage
• Pre Rego

Saturday 18th:42Km Change Race
Location: Takapuna Beach & Takapuna Boating Club Lounge
8:00am Registrations Open

Safety Checks commence (NKOA long distance rules apply. A flare will be required. Life Jackets need to be sighted) Race Briefing, Blessing
11:00 am 42Km Race Starts from Takapuna Beach

As each crew completes the Race there will be Hot Soup & Bread plus drinks provided for all Competitors… served from the Beach Marquee

5:00 PM Massimo Café Bar where a Meal is provided for all Competitors followed by Prizegiving and Spot Prizes.

Please note that all Trailers & Canoes will be required to be moved from Takapuna Beach area at the completion of racing. Should you require overnight storage for your Trailers we have arranged for these to be parked in Smales Farm Car Park as per the attached Map.

Sunday 19th: 24Km OC1 & OC2 Relay
Location: North End Takapuna Beach (Boat Ramp End)
Please note the change of Location for our 24Km Relay due to the Contact Tri also being run from Takapuna Beach.
We will be using the Northern end of Takapuna Beach (Beach Area between the Boat Ramp & Takapuna Boating Club)
The only access to this area is via Earnoch Ave into Allison Ave (map attached)

All Paddlers with OC1/OC2 canoes will be given a permit to park in the angle parking in Allison Ave (street immediately behind the Takapuna Beach Café).

All other competitors/family/friends will need to park in the Killarney St Car Park or the Takapuna Primary School which both are only a few minutes walk down to the Beach. We will have Marshalls assisting with your parking requirements.

A Marquee will be set up on the Grass area in front of the Takapuna Beach cafe for Registrations, clothing sales etc.
There will be Security on at the Marquee on Saturday night should anyone wish to leave their OC1/OC2 overnight.

The rest of the program will run as normal with the race course set up as per previous years (weather dependant)
