Conditions picked up during the morning and by the time of the men’s W6 race the teams were able to practice their surfing abilities. It was good to see some Worlds crews come along to enjoy a bit of longer distance paddling and to support their local series, much appreciated. Congratulations to Akarana Maioha in the women’s and Pineula in the men’s for taking out the W6 wins, with Shannon Moon and Jenny Tonkin taking out the W1s. Da Boys were the junior men’s winners, Azonto the junior mixed and Taniwha Tigers showed their enthusiasm winning the novice event. A great morning’s racing, thanks to all for your support.
