500m V1 Sprint Work Shop with Richard Pehi
Date: Saturday, 10th November 2012 Time: 4pm to 5pm Venue: Whangarei Aquatic Centre outside by the BBQ Cost: Entry fee $10
Richard Pehi – Current Masters National and World Champion will be sharing some of the finer points of V1 / W1 canoe paddling.
This workshop is also suited for those paddlers wanting to qualify at the regional W1 / V1 trails .
Areas covered will be:
Goal setting – know what you want and how to get it
Canoe / waka / paddle choice for V1 Sprints
Basic technique – paddle efficiently
Race plan – getting your head in the right space
