Atamira - Maori in the City
If you are in Auckland this weekend (Friday, Saturday Sunday) Make sure you get down to the Cloud (Queens Wharf) and check out Atamira....we will be there promoting Waka Ama to the unconverted! would be nice if some of the converted could come down and enjoy the event, check out our stand and try your hand at the Waka Ama Erg!
Nga Kaihoe o Aotearoa and AROCA will be hosting a stall in the Hauora- Hub (The Cloud) On Friday (6th), Saturday (7th) and Sunday (8th)!
We will be promoting our sport, sharing footage and clips, promoting safety, providing rigging demonstrations and also encouraging people to have a go on our paddling Erg!
The event will be open from 9am Friday, Saturday and Sunday. There are heaps of things to see & do and lots of yummy food to eat!
Make sure you come down for the Waka Rigging Demo’s – With Conan Herbert
Come and join Conan Herbert at 10am and 2pm on Saturday 7th September for a W6 rigging demonstration

- Getting the best speed and performance out of the Waka
