36 Rangatahi and 12 Adults/Coaches took part in the session that taught them how to flip and right the Waka as well as learning how to swim and survive wearing life jackets.

Clubs involved in the day included Nga Hoe Horo and Rangaunu. And schools were: Hata Maria, Te Kura o Te Kao and Te Rangianiwaniwa.

The day was a great success and we look forward to the next Waka Ama Flip and Float Water Safety Pool Session in Auckland on Sunday 17th November.
