Over the past 10 years the Dash race has evolved from the Matakana Dash, to Maungatapu Dash to now the Omokoroa Dash.  Whatever the venue the event has proved very popular and a whole lot of fun.   The Omokoroa Dash has its whanau / novice / junior race again and  from the looks of things will be the most popular of the three races at the event. 

Like last year at the end of the event there will be a SUP relay.  Its short sweet and very entertaining!  Run by East Coast Paddlers, the SUP boards are provided and it’s a chance to give it a go and have a few laughs along the way.

So come down to Omokoroa Domain, bring your picnic blanket, bring the kids.  There’s a playground, toilets, shop and restaurant there too!”
