Te Tai o Aorere Tasman Bay Outrigger Canoe Club has been formed by a group of like minded individuals who love to be on the water.  Based in Sunny Nelson we are blessed to be able to paddle in the beautiful waters of Te Tai o Aorere (Tasman Bay).

Some of us are keen to paddle competitively but our main objectives are to increase the participation of rangatahi and to use waka ama to promote mental health.  We want to share our 'happy place' and welcome people of all ages, abilities and ethnicity!

With the support of the Waitaha Paddle Club in Christchurch and the Motueka Waka Ama Club we are well on our way to seeing our club develop into something very special!

Paddlers visiting our region are very welcome to join us and see for themselves why we love to paddle here!
