Joern Scherzer - International Va'a Federation Race Rules Committee

We are pleased to congratulate Joern Scherzer (Hoe Tonga Board Chair & PCKC Club Member) on being appointed to the International Va’a Federation Race Rule Committee. Joern has served on the Waka Ama NZ Race Rule Committee for over 10 years and took on the task of reformatting and re-organising the old Waka Ama NZ Race Rules document in 2010. Since then Joern has been involved as a member of the WANZ Race Rules review committee and has a thorough understanding of the race rules and their intent. Joern will be an asset to the IVF Race Rules committee and will provide a structured, fair & balanced overview of any race rule review process undertaken in the future by the IVF.
