Aotearoa J19 Women World Distant - Intents extended - First Trial (25 Feb, Auckland)

The intent process has been extended till Friday 24th Feb for the J19 girls due to the impact of the cyclone on some whanau. Please see the updates for the first camp here

FIRST TRIAL UPDATES

For those that can make it ....there will be a first trial this Saturday 25th February in Auckland at the "Ramp" Panama Road.

Please arrive 8 am, hui 8.30, w1 time trial to start by 9 am. 

Paddlers should bring their own w1, however, if you have real difficulty please get in touch with Sieda [email protected] early so she can try to organise with the Manukau club.


Run W1 time trial 11 am
Break for lunch till 1 pm then w6 session.
Finish time for the day approx 4 pm.

We know that there will be some affected by the Cyclone that may not be able to attend. They will have another opportunity/s to trial.

Waka Ama NZ is pleased to announce Sieda Tureia as the Elite J19 Womens Coach for the 2023 Samoa IVF Va'a World Distance Championships


Anyone who meets the Eligibility Criteria may trial. Paddlers wishing to trial and be considered for the squad and ultimately the team should complete the attached Intent form and return it to Waka Ama NZ [email protected] no later than 24 February 2023 (extended)


Please note: the coaches of the campaign are entitled to invite paddlers to be part of the trial process, should you be contacted by the coaches directly they will inform you of your invitation to take part and will require that you confirm your acceptance of the invitation and attendance at the trial.
