Nau mai haere mai! Waka Ama NZ Regional Development Coordinator AROCA - Maruwhare Harman
Waka Ama NZ and Auckland Region Outrigger Canoe Association - AROCA are delighted to welcome Maruwhare Harman (Nō Ngāti Maniapoto, Whakatōhea) as the new Regional Development Coordinator for the AROCA Region.
This appointment is the first regional appointment as part of the Aukaha Project which will see further appointments in our regions. Along with our clubs, Maruwhare will drive and facilitate growth in the Region aligned with the Aukaha project.
Maruwhare has a strong connection to Waka Ama in the Waikato area and more recently in Canada. We look forward to working with Maruwhare and her positive contribution to the development of Waka Ama in the AROCA region
