Waka Ama NZ Foundation Coaching Course
Waka Ama is a fast-growing marine activity and sport in New Zealand. The purpose of the Waka Ama Safety course is to encourage safe practices essential to paddling Waka Ama, in addition to that covered in Day Skipper and Boatmaster
Aim: This course is designed for Waka Ama paddlers old and new. Includes parts of the Waka Ama, equipment, emergencies, communication, weather, trip planning, navigation techniques, rules and regulations.
Date: Saturday 2 July 2022
Venue: Northtec, Te Pou o Manako, Kerikeri Campus, Cnr Kerikeri & Hone Heke Roads, Kerikeri
Facilitator: Todd Jago
Time: 8am - 2pm (please arrive by 7.45am)
Need to bring: Notepad & pen. BYO lunch - coffee and tea provided.

Minimum of 10 registrations required to deliver course.
Maximum of 20 registrations. Entries will close earlier if quota is reached.
There will be no refunds for late withdrawals. Once the entries are closed, clubs will be invoiced.
