Kaihoe Whaikaha - Have-a-Go Day
Waka Ama Aotearoa NZ, supported by Paralympics NZ and BUPA, is excited to bring our Kaihoe Whaikaha Have-a-Go Day to Tāmaki Makaurau. This day is open to all tāngata whaikaha (people with disabilities).
This is an awesome opportunity to try waka ama. Bring your family along to join in the fun.
Please bring:
- Aqua shoes, jandals, or old sneakers to protect your feet across the sand.
- A rash shirt and shorts/boardies/leggings you don't mind getting wet in.
- Change of clothes
- Sun hat, sunscreen, warm clothing, and your drink bottle
