AROCA 10K Series 2006 - Interim Points Totals
The 2006 season is well underway, with 5 races already held and 4 to go.
Every race event has enjoyed large fields – over 20 in the W6 and over 40 in W1/ W2.
Stand-out performers so far are the Waitakere ROC open womens team, who have won every race they have entered, Manukau Vaka Manu who are well ahead in the open mens W6 points, and Taniwha Grizzlies Gold, a senior masters W6 team that is consistently finishing 1st or 2nd overall in the mens W6 races. Vesna Radonich (open) and Lianne Reaburn (Masters) are leading the W1 womens categories by good margins.
Points are a lot closer in the mens divisions, so there is plenty of good competition to come. Waitakere is the clear club leader in the overall points tally.
AROCA regrets that the points do not include the July 1 event hosted by Pineula. Race results have not been made available from that event.
