Here is a little bit of info about Chrisse

My working life has been based around administration, with the last six years specializing in sport administration with tennis.

I have recently been appointed a committee member of Ruapotaka Marae in Glen Innes, Auckland where I intend to give back to the wonderful community that I was born and raised in.

I have been involved in sports all of my life and participated.

In April 2009, I competed in the 100km Oxfam trail-walk that was completed in 36 hours through farmlands in the Taupo region.

This walk introduced me to our great outdoors where my interests now lie in trail-walking, walking and tramping. I have two lovely children who are now old enough to look after themselves. This now gives me the opportunity to continue with one of my passions in life – coaching, supporting, administering and learning about different sports.

I have the opportunity of working with Nga Kaihoe O Aotearoa and I look forward to offering my skills and knowledge as an administrator.

I hope to provide a service that will continue to support relationships and to encourage positive communication within the sport of Waka Ama. I am excited about my new role and I look forward to working with you all in the near future.

Regards,

Chrissie
