The Waka Ama NZ Aukaha Project Plan will be implemented over the next 3-5 years with the support of Sport NZ. Aukaha can mean many things, for the purpose of this kaupapa we have identified Aukaha as the lashing – binding our sport. Check out more about our Aukaha Project process!

As you may be aware, the new Incorporated Societies Act 2022 was passed into law last year. The new legislation modernises the rules governing New Zealand’s incorporated societies for the first time since 1908. The plan is for Waka Ama NZ to roll out an approach that will help all of our clubs collectively to work through these changes and we will provide as much support as possible.
