Voice of Participant Survey - Waka Ama New Zealand

Earlier this year we provided you with the link for your club and club members to take part in a survey that conducted research to find out how paddlers or their parents (for juniors) view their Waka Ama experience. Thank you to all the clubs, paddlers and parents who took part in the survey and provided responses. We had great response given the crazy COVID times we were all dealing with at the time and the results provide our sport with a lot of great feedback and insights to be able to build from at all levels.

Waka Ama NZ Draft Strategic Plan 2021 -2025

Over the past few months, the Waka Ama NZ Board with the support from Sport New Zealand, Hotu Barclay-Kerr, and Rangimarie Parata-Takurua have undergone the process of reviewing where sport is at now and drafting a new Strategic Plan for Waka Ama in Aotearoa. This plan will help guide our sport from 2021 to 2025 and beyond.
