Hi I’m a J16 paddler going to worlds as a singles paddler, I’m looking for options to join a team going to worlds to compete in as many team races as possible. I can sit in any seat and I am an experienced steerer in distance and sprints. If you are looking to complete your team for whatever reason I would be happy to trial for a position.

After a week of close and competitive racing at the Te Wānanga o Aotearoa Waka Ama Sprint Nationals at Lake Karāpiro we are pleased to announce the clubs that have qualified spots in the 2020 IVF World Club Championship that is being held in August in Hawaii.

Kia ora koutou! Confirmation will be sent to clubs early next week confirming teams and V1 paddlers that have been successful in qualifying for the World Sprints. Due to the business of Nationals we are going to extend some dates. Once the qualifiers have been formally offered their place - teams/V1 paddlers will have until the 4th of February to confirm they wish to secure their spots.

The “Ace Cuthers Memorial Club Spirit Award” is a trophy that is chosen by Volunteers and Officials at the event. This trophy was carved and named in honour of Greg 'Ace' Cuthers who we sadly lost in 2010.
