Aotearoa Team Selections
Congratulations to the following paddlers who have been selected to represent Aotearoa in the selected J19 Wāhine, J19 Tāne, Open Wāhine, and Open Tāne (pending) teams.
House of Travel - Travel Packages
Waka Ama Aotearoa NZ in partnership with travel partner HOT Events is offering packages to clubs and paddlers travelling to Singapore this coming August for the IVF World Sprint Championships.

National Coaches
We are pleased to announce the Aotearoa team national coaches for the 2026 World Sprint Champs.
These coaches were appointed in 2024 on a two-year sprint campaign and look to build on from the previous World Sprint Champs.

The V1 500m Quota and Qualifying process is in the attachments for further information.
Club Age Division Teams Intents
The intents are now open for club teams wanting to qualify for World Sprint Club Championships in Singapore. Intents must be made through the WAANZ Members Area by club admins. If your club would like an invoice please contact us to request this.
