Takapuna Beach Cup - Junior & Novice Sea Changes Race Removed
The Takapuna Beach Cup Committee have had to make a decision to remove the Junior & Novice Sea Change Races from the Sunday's format, this is due to safety regulations. We will revisit this option later on in the year.

2014 Nationals T-Shirt Designer- Paul Marshall-Slade
This year we thought it would be extra special if we asked the designer of the original 1990 Shirts (And many other shirts!!) to design this years 25th Anniversary shirt. Paul -Marshall-Slade has been involved in Waka Ama in Aotearoa since it started and we are honoured that his designs are still part of our sport today! Here is a little History of Paul's continued involvement in Waka Ama. - Thank you Paul for all you have done and continue to do.

Monthly Prize Draw #17 December
Last month thanks to our suppliers we gave away a Adrenalin 2P Thermo year round collection consisting of 2P Thermo shorts, longs pants, short sleeve shirt and long sleeve shirt supplied by Waka Essential Ltd, 6 copies of the latest Surfer Journals supplied by Northland Ocean Riders Club and a $50 Prezzy Card donated by New Zealand Post. I have mislaid my 2 steerer's blades. One is a heavily taped Kialoa carbon blade and the other my good Tai with wood and carbon (named HARNOR)
